| Error in Letter dating - apologies to all The letter reported as 9th October 1917 was more likely to have been written today, 27th October 1917. I will amend the date accordingly in a few days.
The actual letter was undated. It was written after a day on the range and I could only find one possible day for that in the Battalion's War Diary. I missed a second small entry on 27th October.

This letter is from Harry?s brother, Jack to sister Kate. Jack was, at the time, an Anglican Clergyman in Hull in the North of England. Kate was a nurse in London.
